The second part of ‘Passing Through’ opened at Studio KIND, Barnstaple, North Devon on 6th February.

The first exhibition at East Quay highlighted the role of participation and the subtle ways in which audiences can leave their mark, shaping how this next chapter of the project has developed. These gestures — quiet, playful, and often unplanned — speak to how art can open up shared experiences, especially within informal and welcoming spaces.

As the project moves into its next phase here at Studio KIND, these dialogues continue to develop and deepen, as the artists map not only the geography between communities, but also the creative relationships that have emerged along the way.
